Dr Alexander Uskov
PHD, DOCTOR OF LASER MEDICINE
Hello! I am Doctor Uskov, doctor of laser medicine, medical founder of Confido Laser Clinic in Estonia. I graduated with honours from the Medical Academy (2001, Saint Petersburg, Russia) and defended my dissertation as a candidate of medical sciences (PhD) (2006, Moscow, Russia). I am the founder and President of the Estonian Society for Laser Medicine (www.elas.ee). Since 2023, I have been teaching my own course on laser medicine for medical students and doctors at the University of Tartu, ESTONIA.
As a doctor I deal first and foremost with skin problems. I help to remove vascular and pigment problems, scars and stretch marks after pregnancy and post-acne scars with laser as well as perform laser removal of artificial pigment and rejuvenate the skin of the face and sensitive zones.
I regularly improve my qualifications abroad. I am an expert doctor of laser medicine in the Baltic States on behalf of Lumenis™ and DEKA™, the manufacturers of laser medical equipment.

Laser medicine advances at rapid-fire pace, and many techniques used only ten years ago are no longer relevant and are superseded by new, more effective and safer approaches. Therefore, doctors of laser medicine have to be aware of advances and be able to adopt practices from colleagues abroad. In my work, I try to use the most relevant techniques and equipment as well as develop my own protocols for laser treatment.
In my spare time, I work on my book (of course, about laser medicine) and do sports. In 2019, I ran the first half-marathon of my life :)
